◇ This tester touches the plan at an angle of 45˚ with the lead of a pencil as prescribed by KS G 2630(pencil). Pressing and moving on the plan by about weight of 1kg, the lead scratches the surface. According to the change of the surface, pencil hardness is compared by the pencil number of that time.
